I have the darnedest time trying to describe the color of this stone. Sunset in Arizona, Autumn in North Carolina? Sort of an iridescent Orange/Pink/Yellow/Whatever... It catches light like crazy -- I mean, bright sunlight makes it go berserk, and even in a low-lit restaurant, it can't hide. It insists on being seen, and does SUCH a marvelous job of it. Cool stone, however you describe it. In plain English, this is simply a very pretty stone, and it's well mounted in this Sterling Silver ring. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it. The stone weighs about 1.5 carats, and measures 8x6 mm. A good, solid, everyday ring -- and would look just as nice out on the town! This is just a cool looking ring. I LOVE the beaded design -- it shines almost better than the Topaz!
