This stone is so hot! It's not ruby red, and it's not garnet red, it's --- well, it's Crimson Red. At a glance, it could pass as either, but it's not.
This is a natural Topaz that has been treated in much the same way as all of the other Mystic Topazes. I've been selling Mystic Topaz for 8 years now, and have sold well over 30,000 of them, and have only had three ever come back with color fading, and those were all due to harsh chemicals (don't soak your ring in Oxy-10, duh..).
The ring itself is bordering on simply too large for many women to wear, but if you can handle a big'un, you're gonna love this! This is a fasinating braided filigree mounting that holds the 14x10mm Crimson Topaz in with 10 prongs. What a cool ring! Great, solid, and good for everyday wear, but will do nicely for evening wear if you've a mind to.
We use a special anti-tarnish alloy in our silver casting. This ensures that your jewelry will be bright and shiny even after you've had it for awhile.
