Sometimes innovation works; really, really works. This stone has the new "Quantum" or concave cut; and it really works. Light plays around inside the Smoky Quartz like it never has before.
The stone measures 12x10 mm, and weighs 6 carats. The mounting is a very dainty contemporary basket, with finger designs holding the stone in place. It's a good, well designed mounting. At 2.3 grams of gold, it's one of our lighterweight models, whcih makes it a lot easier on the budget.
