When you just gotta have red, and don't feel like coughing up the $5,000 for the real thing, these lab created rubies are just the thing. Intense, bright red -- heck, I can't get the camera to catch the color -- they glow under the camera flash. But I can tell you this, they are red, red, red -- and well cut, throwing gobs of red fire.

There's a lot of gold in this ring. (More than twice the average!) 

It does a superb job of showing off the stone, and yet keeps a fairly low profile so it won't get hung in your pockets.  It's a good, solid, everyday ring.
