I love Silver Topaz, also called White Topaz. Nothing but bright, sparkly natural fire. Ours have been checkerboard cut, and it catches light like crazy -- bright sunlight makes it go berserk, and even in a low-lit restaurant, it can't hide. It insists on being seen, and does SUCH a marvelous job of it.
The reason it's mostly called Silver Topaz is that it's got this really cool silvery shimmery thing going on inside the stone. It's a strongly doubly refractive stone, which means you're actually seeing two of everything reflected back out of the stone.
A comfortable 6 carats, clean and clear, with tons of bright, sparkly silver fire. Gives me goosebumps just to look at it. The sides have a nice wide filigree pattern, allowing the stone to stand on it's own merits.
This ring just "feels" good, and look great!
