When you just gotta have red, and don't feel like coughing up the $5,000 for the real thing, these lab created rubies are just the thing. Intense, bright red -- heck, I can't get the camera to catch the color -- they glow under the camera flash. But I can tell you this, they are red, red, red -- and well cut, throwing gobs of red fire.

The ring itself is heavy with a good feel to it. The sides have a wide filligree pattern and enhances the stone very nicely while allowing it to stand on it's own.
