Crimson Topaz - Not ruby red and not garnet red. It's crimson red! It could pass for either but it's not.
Crimson Topaz is a natural topaz that is treated in the same manner as the other mystic topazes.
The stone measures 16x12 mm, and weighs in the neighborhood of a huge 13 carats. The mounting is a very pretty, heavy filigree. It's a good, solid mounting; 5 grams, and very sturdy
