Amethyst is such a vibrant stone!  The royal color, the way it throws sparkle and fire -- it's just an awesome stone.

This one has been cut with the checkerboard cut (my favorite cut for ovals), and it goes crazy with sparkle.

Set in a simple,14k Gold, oval basket (but nice and heavy) that lets the Amethyst go bezerk, and is accented with a nice, well cut CZ.  A 15pt diamond accent is also available upon request.

The stone weighs a healthy 7 carats, and the mounting is what you'd expect to find holding such a nice stone.   Take a look at the thickness of the gold -- we don't skimp.
