If you like Smoky Quartz, you're gonna love these!

I hand pick every Smoky Quartz I set, and I'm very picky.  I don't like them really dark, 'cause light can't get in there and bounce back at you.  I CAN set very light ones if that's what you prefer, but if left up to me, the stones are medium, and selected for good cut.

This hefty Smoky Quartz is set into a simple 14k gold basket mounting and is accented with a nice, well cut CZ.  A 20pt diamond accent is also available upon request.  The stone weighs in the neighborhood of 12 carats, and measures 16x12mm.  It is roughly the size of a nickel or a dime. 

Look closely at the prongs, and the rest of the setting -- we use a nice, thick structure (you don't want massive, but you don't want cheap stamped out stuff either) so that your jewelry will last and last. (Your daughter will love it when she inherits this from you.)
