So one day one of my customers pretty much forces me to use London Blue Topaz and Swiss Blue Topaz together in one bracelet. Color me surprised. Such an obvious combination. It looks absolutely stunning, and I felt like a dummy for never seeing the possibility before. Some of my best stuff has been done with a customer twisting my arm up behind my back. Oh well. All I can say is it's one of our prettiest combinations.
That having been said, if you've got some combination you'd like to try, I'm a lot more open to the idea now'days. The price might vary a tad depending on what stones you use, but we're game if you are.
These stones are set into sturdy 4 prong baskets, linked together by balled pins, so there's no solder anywhere with the exception of the clasp -- a good strong design. We cast our own mountings and will never use flimsy "snap tight" stuff... This allows the most show of stone for the least expense in gold, still maintaining sturdy construction. It's a good stable mounting that won't set you back a year just to get one.
