The stone is a bright, very well cut natural Peridot, with lot's of depth and color!

By the way, I was born in August myself, and I normally don't like a lot of what I see passed off as "good" Peridot.  I don't like the yellow washed out stuff, and I don't like the brown muddy looking stuff, and I don't like cracks or carbon cluttering it up either.  My Peridot is as bright and as vibrant as I can get it, and if I can't get it, I don't buy it.  You shouldn't have to either. 

These stones are set into a simple Sterling Silver Post Earring Mounting, allowing the most show of stone for the least expense in gold.  It's a good stable setting that doesn't set you back a month just to get one.  There's no reason why these stone shouldn't last you for years, and dazzle every day of it.
