Created Rubies are just the brightest, cleanest reddest rubies ever.  I've seen a ton of natural rubies -- sort of pink, sort of purple, sort of muddy, almost always got stuff in them.  In fact, the easiest giveaway that a ruby is created, not mined, is that it's got great color and that it's clear.

It's just better...  (and lucky for us, it's a whole lot less expensive!)

These stones are set into a sturdy 4 prong basket. We cast our own mountings and will never use flimsy "snap tight" stuff... It allows the most show of stone for the least expense in Silver. It's a good stable setting that doesn't set you back a month just to get one.
