Smoky Quartz. A soft, subtle, sandy, sultry color. Like my use of "s" words? Fabulous for winter wear with leathers and furs!

I'm not going to bore you with a long sales pitch about Smoky Quartz -- you either like it or you don't. I will tell you that I tend to pick medium color Smoky. I have the darker stuff on hand if you prefer it -- I just like a lot of light to get in and flash back out.

Also, I want to mention just more thing. Most of the Smoky Topaz you ever saw was actually Smoky Quartz. It's been sold as Smoky "Topaz" for so long, the terms are almost interchangeable. Just thought you should know...

This Smoky Quartz stone is set into a simple Sterling Silver basket mounting. The stone weighs in the neighborhood of 7 carats, and measures 14x10mm.
