A fun, colorful piece to express yourself beautifully set with Paraiba Topaz. An Oval Basket setting lets the Paraiba Topaz do it's thing!  The stone weighs a healthy 7carats and the mounting is what you'd expect to hold such a nice stone.  Just look at the pictures at how thick the metal is.

OK, so just what IS Paraiba Topaz?  Well, it is a natural Topaz, mined in Brazil that has been treated to emulate a special Tourmaline mined in the state of Paraiba, Brazil.  That unique Tourmaline is very rare and very expensive -- currently costing around $2-3,000/carat for stones of this size. 

Which brings us to THIS stone, the Paraiba Topaz, aptly named because it's color so closely matched the original Tourmaline.  A Blue/Green Teal sort of color, somewhat like an Apatite -- this stone is well cut, and throws really cool Paraiba color.

Set in a simple, oval .925 Sterling Silver basket (nice and heavy) that lets the Sapphire do it's thing, and is accented with a nice, well cut CZ.  We use a special alloy in our sterling silver that is tarnish resistant, so your pendant will be beautiful AND hassle-free for a long time to come.
