Intense, bright red -- heck, I can't get the camera to catch the color -- they glow under the camera flash. But I can tell you this, they are red, red, red -- and well cut, throwing gobs of red fire.

Set in a simple, oval basket (but nice and heavy), and accented with a nice, well cut CZ.  The stone weighs a healthy 12+ carats, and the mounting is what you'd expect to find holding such a nice stone.
