Smoky Quartz, mined in Brazil -- A soft, sultry smoky color. Best yet, these are concave cut -- not flat facets, but concave. Also called Quantum Cut, they suit the stone very well, and throw the nicest sparkle and fire.
What's so cool about it is it's neutrality. It won't argue or fight with much of anything you wear. It's a complimentary color, which means it goes with anything, not trying to take center stage. It's just a nice addition to your collection, one that you can wear anytime you want with anything you want.
And that's pretty hard to beat. Oh yeah -- they're pretty, too.
These stones are set into a sturdy 4 prong basket. We cast our own mountings and will never use flimsy "snap tight" stuff... It allows the most show of stone for the least expense in silver. It's a good stable setting that doesn't set you back a month just to get one.
