Good Red Garnets, mined in Mozambique, Africa. I can't stand murky Garnets, or prune juice colored, or just yucky ugly wannabe stones. I'm really picky about my garnets -- generally a not TOO dark red (you just have to have light be able to get into the stone and bounce back out!), and leaning toward Pyrope in color if I can.
However, when you order your earrings you tell me if you want dark red, or lighter if I can get them -- they're your ears, after all! You tell me!
Also, please understand that these pictures were taken with a flash, which lightens the color of the stones considerably. I was torn between dark pictures with dark stones, or really getting into the stone and showing off.
Well cut, with lots of crazy sparkle, these stones are set into a simple 14k basket Mounting hanging from leverbacks allowing the most show of stone for the least expense in gold.
It's a good stable setting that doesn't set you back a month just to get one.
There's no reason why these stone shouldn't last you for years, and dazzle every day of it. |
