We love this ring!  A pretty combination of gold filligree and the nicest Amethyst we've seen in years.  Nice purple, natural Amethyst  -- mined in Brazil -- the color Amethysts are supposed to be. 

I'm really picky about my Amethysts -- generally, dark, but not TOO dark a purple (you just have to have light be able to get into the stone and bounce back out!) and often with red or blue highlights, depending on the stone and the direction of the light.

The sides of this ring have a nice wide filligree pattern, allowing the stone to stand on it's own merits.
