This stone is a natural Amethyst, with a rich, royal purple color.  It adds that flash of color everyone needs.

The stone measures 16x12 mm, and weighs in the neighborhood of 12 carats.  The mounting is a very pretty, heavy filigree.  It's a good, solid mounting and very sturdy.
