I don't know if you've been following Topaz lately, but there's a mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil that produces a Topaz that takes treatment better than any other Topaz in the world, and is the source of the newer, darker Swiss Blue Topaz. We get our rough from this mine, have it cut and treated, and the results are evident in the pictures we've got for this ring. This is an outstanding stone, and it is enjoying a new popularity Swiss Blue hasn't seen in years. This stone is a gotta have!
This stone is a brilliant 50ct monster, mounted in a simple, yet solid basket mount. This simple mount lets the stone speak for itself, which is good, because it has a lot to say, like "AWESOME, BREATHTAKING, STUNNING!" Feel free to grab your thesaurus and add to the list.
The Oval Checkerboard cut allows even the smallest amount of light to play in every direction. If you like the Swiss BlueTopaz in the smaller stones, you're going to love this.
Not to kid anyone, this ring is not for everybody. It takes a certain amount of attitude to wear. We're talking major bling here -- not for the faint of heart. This SUPERSIZED stone is all rock and kept in a simple mounting with no side stones to clutter it up (heck, I wouldn't even know where I'd put 'em!) |
