| This stone is so hot! It's not ruby red, and it's not garnet red, it's --- well, it's Crimson Red. At a glance, it could pass as either, but it's not.
This is a natural Topaz that has been treated in much the same way as all of the other Mystic Topazes. I've been selling Mystic Topaz for 8 years now, and have sold well over 30,000 of them, and have only had three ever come back with color fading, and those were all due to harsh chemicals (don't soak your ring in Oxy-10, duh..).
The stone measures 9x7 mm, and weighs 2.3 carats. The mounting is a very dainty contemporary basket, with finger designs holding the stone in place. It's a good, well designed mounting. At 3 grams of gold, it's one of our lighterweight models, whcih makes it a lot easier on the budget.
It is simple enough for everyday wear, yet pretty enough to wear out in the evening. |
