I love good garnets. 

You're gonna love this one, 'cause I only buy good garnets.The stone is a medium color Mozambique Garnet, with a strong red color.  (I don't like Garnets that are so dark they won't throw light, nor Garnets the color of prunes.  I hand pick them, tending toward Pyrope if I can get it.  You won't find any of my Garnets with an muddy or brown cast to it.)

This setting is a heavy, classic mounting.  It holds two 5 pt accent stones, currently set with CZ's.  Notice the double prongs and the metal going down the shank -- good and thick.  This ring is made to last (your daughter will thank you later).
