Our cutter in Brazil makes these to our express specifications. The reason is very simple. If you start with well cut Silver Topaz, then after it's treated, you get good Mystic Topaz. If you've ever bought Mystic Topaz somewhere else you may have seen faded stones, or perhaps simply no sparkle. Bad Cut = Bad Sparkle. We won't do that. All of our Mystic Topaz is checkerboard cut because that throws more variation of color than any other cut we've seen.
