(Formerly Earring Style Number E101)
The color of the sky in winter. Icy Swiss Blue Topaz, these stones are well cut and throw gobs of sparkle... If London Blue is a bit too melodramtic for you, these stones are a lot more fun.
I don't know if you've been following Topaz lately, but there's a mine in Minas Gerais, Brazil that produces a Topaz that takes treatment better than any other Topaz in the world, and is the source of the newer, darker Swiss Blue Topaz. We get our rough from this mine, have it cut and treated, and the results are evident in the pictures we've got for this ring. This is an outstanding stone, and it is enjoying a new popularity Swiss Blue hasn't seen in years. This stone is a gotta have!
They are set into a wraptight or cinchmount setting, hanging from 14k Threaders!
Essentially a variation on the bezel setting, it allows the most show of stone for the least expense in gold.
It's a good stable setting that doesn't set you back a month just to get one. |
